Perth Theatre, Whats On and Theatre Tickets

In consultation with audiences, local communities and partners, Perth Theatre is working with award-winning Richard Murphy Architects to breathe new life into Perth Theatre. The repoening in 2007 will have both the necessary capacity and inspirational environment to deliver their vision for the future; excellence and innovation in the performing arts in Scotland.

The project will:

- restore the B-listed, Edwardian audtiorium to its former glory, including reinstating the 'gods' seating and introducing an orchestra area

- build a new 200-seat capacity studio theatre for small to mid-scale music and drama performances

- provide new community and creative learning spaces, including a home for Perth Youth Theatre

- improve access throughout and provide level access for the first time with a lift to all other levels
